Keith Allsopp

Keith has over 25 year’s international senior management and consulting experience.

Keith’s management career began when, as general manager of a family-run hotel business, he raised its occupancy from 45% to over 70% in just 10 months.  Keith then spent 11 successful years as a senior manager and business consultant working in sales, bid management and business development.

He joined the blue chip, global telecommunications company Cable & Wireless in 1996 and his first challenge was to drive new approaches to service management. Keith then moved into product management and marketing. Over the next few years Keith was to lead the integration of 13 newly acquired ISPs across Europe and work with C&W around the world to restructure and deliver growth in its global portfolios, before taking on business consultant and programme director roles in C&W International (now C&W Communications).

Joining Colt as Director of Professional Services in 2005, Keith turned its pre-sales consulting cost centre into a professional services profit centre.

In 2007, Keith was asked to help a small software firm to become more commercial, delivering 100% pa growth for each of following two years, an opportunity which launched him into consultant and interim engagements.  Since then he has undertaken consulting engagements and delivered results for businesses from start ups, through SMEs to Multi-nationals.  Keith’s key sector expertise is with telecommunications, Internet and software firms but also those whose customer propositions are dependent upon digital technologies, such as travel transaction processing and applications.

Keith is passionate about customers, with an instinctive understanding of the customer perspective.  He has a keen understanding of and fascination for the application of technology to deliver value for customers, in both B2B and consumer markets.

Keith holds an MBA from Henley Management College.
